Cookies and device storage
A practical notice about what Fesera stores in your browser and on your device.

1. Sign-in and care context
Supabase session cookies keep your account signed in. Fesera also uses account-specific cookies to remember the selected care episode. The app needs these functions to maintain the requested session and care context. Removing them can sign you out or reset your episode selection.
Necessary functionality does not make every use exempt from privacy rules. Storage involving sensitive or privately stored information needs a separate assessment and appropriate permissions under Nigerian law.
2. Preferences and navigation
Device storage can remember a theme you select, onboarding state and chat scroll position. These support the interface rather than advertising. You can change appearance in the app and clear site data through your browser.
3. Offline health information
The installed web app can keep an offline copy of the patient home page and save recovery drafts or pending activity entries locally. These may contain sensitive health information. They are not anonymous usage statistics, and browser storage is not a substitute for a protected clinical backup.
Use a device lock and avoid shared devices. Signing out clears the private offline page cache; some local drafts or queued records may remain until their relevant cleanup or until you clear site data. Clearing site data can permanently remove entries that have not synchronised. Contact your provider if you need an alternative to keeping recovery information on the device.
4. Tracking and external services
Our current website and app do not include advertising pixels or optional analytics trackers. Linked websites and externally configured hosting features may operate differently. Payment and video services have their own information and permissions.
Adding optional tracking requires a new assessment, clear information, a genuine accept/reject choice before the optional tool loads, and a way to withdraw consent. Agreement to terms or dismissing a notice is not optional-tracking consent.
5. Your controls
You can sign out, revoke camera or microphone permission in your browser, uninstall the web app and clear the app.fesera.com cookies, local storage and caches through browser settings. Clearing only fesera.com will not remove information stored by app.fesera.com. Uninstalling the home-screen icon alone may not clear browser data. These actions do not erase the provider’s clinical record; use the Privacy requests route for that request.
You can complain directly to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. Clinical-conduct concerns may be raised with the Medical Rehabilitation Therapists Board of Nigeria.
